Garden Of Life Products

January 30th, 2009

Due to the times and envirement that we live in, more and more people are turning to complementary medicine and organic, whole foods. One of the reasons for this is that a healthy diet and exercise can help to ward off stress related illness. The Garden of Life product range promotes good nutrition in an easily digestible form. The products are designed to help everyone. Of course, pregnant and breast feeding women should consult their doctor as to their suitability.

The  Garden of Life product range can be bought in stores or online. To promote the products and give more information the company also publishes a magazine called Extraordinary Health with articles on fitness, nutrition and recipes. The Garden of Life product covers many needs. One of the lines is called Digestive Health Products and they complement a healthy diet. Perfect Cleanse is a 10 day detox regime to be used on an evening. This means that there is no fasting involved and no disruption to the working day. An informational booklet is included, in addition to a CD with guidance from the company’s founder, Jordan Rubin. Anyone with allergies can probably still use  Garden of Life products, as there is no ingredients, containing soy, nuts, milk or eggs.

The Ultra Line is a selection of nutritional supplements and includes RM-10 Ultra, designed to boost the immune system and look after the cells. The nutrients include organic mushrooms and include betaine, folic acid and Vitamin B12. This Garden of Life product is in the form of quick release capsules and is suitable for vegetarians. The Living Nutrients line is a whole food vitamin and mineral supplement. Living Vitamin C contains fruit, peel, pulp and seeds from organically grown whole foods. It has a rich source of antioxidants and trace minerals.

Living Calcium Advanced helps to promote good bones, keeping them in good condition. Living Multi are multivitamins, available as an Optional Women’s Formula and an Optional Men’s Formula. They both contain more than 80 whole food concentrates from fruit and vegetables with added vitamins and minerals. The women’s formula has B Vitamins, calcium, folic acid and iron. The men’s version has zinc and selenium. It also contains palmetto and lycopene, both good for promoting a healthy prostrate.

Jordan Rubin has written books about diet and nutrition, in addition to running the Garden of Life product line. He overcame Crohn’s Disease and wanted to spread the word about his beliefs in his diet. The books are called Patient Heal Thyself, The Maker’s Diet and Restoring Your Digestive Health. After a grim prognosis, Rubin is sure that his diet regime saved him.

Looking For Cheap Shoes

January 30th, 2009

You can dress up in an exciting and glamarous way even if you are on a limited budget. As a matter of fact, with very little expenses and some careful planning, you can put together fabulous outfits for almost nothing. In recent years, second hand stores have gotten more and more popular, and so prices have gone up.But if you know the right places, you can still find cheap secondhand clothing at the right stores. As a matter of fact, about the only part of your outfit that you can’t find secondhand at a cheap price is the shoes. Some second hand stores have a cheap shoe section, but the pickings are usually slim and it is always hit or miss as to whether or not you can find the right size.

If you are looking for discount shoes, you have to go to an outlet store. Fortunately, there so many stores that specialize in cheap shoes. As long as you don’t have this years model in mind, you can usually get a pair for much less than you would buy it for elsewhere. My last pair of cheap shoes, for example, cost less than half as much as they should have at any conventional retail shoe store. The same thing goes for dress shoes, boots, hiking shoes, and all other styles. You can even find high-quality cheap running shoes if you know where to look.

Of course, cheap shoes are much harder to find for people with very large or small sizes. I have a brother who has this problem. His feet are huge. Not only are they a size 13, but they are extra wide.Needless to say, he doesn’t even bother to look for cheap shoes. As a matter of fact he has to take anything that fits.

But if you look at the right places you can still find cheap shoes, even if you do have large or very small feet. The key is to find a brand that fits you well and stick with it. New balance are great shoes for people with wide feet. Whenever my brother is anywhere near a new balance shoe outlet, he goes and stocks up. He buys five or six pairs of shoes, and he’s good for the next year or two.
So don’t despair if you are looking for cheap shoes because there are so many of them out there, all you need to do is find the best place that suit you best.

When do you start shopping for your kids clothes from the adult section?

January 29th, 2009
My eldest daughter is 13, almost 14 and just started 9th grade. I still shop for her from the girls section. When I saw her new friends today, they dress like 20 yr olds! Aren’t 13-14yr olds still little girls? I don’t want her to get influenced by them and dress like a 20yr old. What is the appropriate age for kids to start shopping from the adults section? I thought it to be around 16-17?

What is a good shopping cart software to use?

January 26th, 2009

MrMichigan asked:

I know there are a lot of shopping carts out there. Here is the deal.

1) I already have a web site and a host.

2) I have a paypal account. I am going to use paypal to accept credit cards.

I just need a low cost shopping cart software that has shipping options, taxes, old / new product prices, unlimited products and looks good and not cheap looking.

I do not know html. I use Frontpage 2003 to build my web site. I just need a shopping cart software that will have a nice looking format already setup to add my products.

Note: I am not offering files to download. I am selling Herbailfe products. If you are aware of someone already having a shopping cart setup for these products and willing to hook me up, then please let me know.
